Each year many activities and events take place around the same time, but on different days.  This list will help you plan ahead by letting you know what is coming up.

  • Pompanousic Mills Annual sale - Memorial Day weekend
  • Dartmouth PowWow - typically Mother's Day weekend.  A fun experience to watch Native American dances and sample traditional food.  Especially nice when it's on the Dartmouth Green on a lovely day.  If the weather is poor, it moves inside to Thompson Arena.

  • Buena Gente Social Club gathering (Spanish language group), Umpleby's 10:30-11:30am
  • Salt Hill Pub - Pub karaoke 8pm
  • ArtStop!, AVA's free, weekly open studio for students in grades 5-8, held at AVA Gallery and Art Center on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 to 5:00pm.  Participants engage with a variety of art materials and repurposed objects while being inspired by the changing exhibitions in AVA’s galleries. (Sept. through May 21)



  • Hanover Recreation Bouncy house open 10a-2:30p ($3/walking child) morning for 0-preschoolers, afternoon for 4 yrs+
  • Splashin Tots @ the CCBA ($4/child, $8/family)



  • Gusanoz Lebanon, NH 1pm & 6pm piñata for kids, free kid's meal with paid adult meal
  • CAOS open art room for kids at AVA Gallery, 11am-4pm $5/child (through May 25)

  • 1-4pm open swim at RVC.  Members free, $8/member's child, $15/non-member adult, $10/non-member child.  A non-swimming parent does not need to pay a fee.
  • Drop in Chess at The Howe Library 1:15-3p
